A Fellowship for Practical Climate Action

About

Your Green Action is a 12-week environmental fellowship designed to help young people transform climate awareness into meaningful daily action.
Across the world, many young people care deeply about environmental issues but often feel overwhelmed by the scale of the climate crisis. Information about climate change is widely available, yet practical guidance on how individuals can contribute to solutions is often missing.
Your Green Action was created to bridge that gap.
The program focuses on helping participants understand how everyday decisions about food, energy, transportation, consumption, and waste connect to larger environmental systems. Through accessible lessons, practical challenges, and reflection, participants develop sustainable habits and a stronger sense of environmental responsibility.
The fellowship encourages a simple but powerful idea: meaningful change begins with consistent, conscious actions.

Our Approach

Your Green Action combines environmental education with practical application.
Rather than focusing only on theory, the program encourages participants to apply what they learn in real life. Each week introduces a different aspect of environmental action and invites participants to explore how their habits influence the planet.
Participants learn to:
Develop sustainable daily habits
Understand climate justice and global inequalitiesReflect on personal consumption and lifestyle choices
Influence others through example and conversation
Use storytelling as a tool for environmental advocacy
Create a personal Green Action Plan for long-term impactBy the end of the fellowship, participants leave not only with knowledge but also with the confidence to continue acting and influencing their communities.

A Global Perspective

Environmental challenges do not affect all regions equally.
Many communities in the Global South experience the most severe impacts of climate change while contributing the least to global emissions. Recognizing this reality is central to the philosophy of Your Green Action.
The program highlights diverse environmental experiences from around the world and encourages participants to connect global challenges with local realities.
By fostering awareness, empathy, and responsibility, the fellowship aims to contribute to a more inclusive and globally conscious environmental movement.

Created by the Wang and Tangang Foundation

Your Green Action is an initiative developed under the Wang and Tangang Foundation, an international non-governmental organization committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
The foundation focuses on empowering young people to become active contributors to sustainable development, particularly in regions of the Global South.
Through educational initiatives, community projects, and international collaboration, the foundation works to promote environmental responsibility, global citizenship, and long-term social impact.
The slogan of the foundation reflects this vision:
“Inspiring Action, Impacting Generations.”
